The husband and wife duo have written a number of acclaimed titles

A pair of local authors are offering bargains for readers as part of a bid to raise money for children with cancer.

Husband and wife duo Tony and Heather Flood, who have lived in Bickley, Bromley, Sidcup and Blackheath, are donating money from their book sales and offering readers signed copies at reduced prices.

Mr Flood’s My Life with the Stars and The Secret Potion, and Mrs Flood’s Mousey Mousey series and, Giant Sticker Monster and Other Children’s Stories, will be available for £5.50 each, including postage and packaging.

Meanwhile, Mr Flood’s crime thriller Triple Tease available will be available for £7.75, including postage and packaging.

People wishing to take advantage of the offer can send a cheque for £5.50, made payable to ‘Sportsworld Communications’, for each book, to: Special Books Offer, 24 Brisbane Quay, Eastbourne, BN23 5PD

Proceeds will go to Children With Cancer UK.
