CINDERELLA and her Prince Charming led the countdown for the switch on for the Christmas lights in the town centre.

Arriving last Thursday in a Shetland pony-drawn carriage, Cinders (played by Laura Hamilton) and the Prince (Mark Evans) set off fireworks in Bromley town centre to celebrate the start of the festive season.

Earlier in the day, shoppers were entertained by live music, kids activities, a craft and food market and fairground.

Cinderella, also starring Steve Guttenberg and Helen Lederer, opens at The Churchill on December 5.
