A DECISION on granting a controversial late licence to a nightclub has been delayed.

Bromley council were due to decide whether to let the Flamingo Park, in Sidcup Bypass, Sidcup, stay open until 3am last Thursday.

Bromley council said the reason for the postponement was that the agents acting on behalf of club owner, Adrian Pollock, submitted extra information the day before which needed to be considered.

The council is yet to set a new date for a decision.

Residents living near the venue raised concerns about the close proximity of the club to an old people's care home and were worried that the extended opening hours would cause anti-social behaviour.

A spokesperson for Bromley council said: "Applications were withdrawn from the agenda.

"The agent for the

additional late information just the day before, so it was withdrawn to give officers time tolook at that.
