HE'S been the thin white duke, the man who fell to earth and now he is... the lego rock star.
Former Bromley starman David Bowie is the latest rock star to inspire the video game LEGO Rock Band (pictured right) sporting his look from the 1980s complete with white shirt, braces and long blond locks.
The Bowie avatar, complete with mismatched blue and brown eyes, will appear on the game when players choose the Let's Dance.
But according to Bowie's official website, the look is not as accurate as other rock stars appearing on the game such as Iggy Pop.
Rolling Stone writer Daniel Kreps writes: "It's hard to tell by the video of Bowie performing Let's Dance but LEGO Bowie has one blue eye and one brown eye, which is slightly inaccurate (Bowie has two blue eyes, but one of the eyes has its iris open wide at all times, making it look brown)."
While Total Blam Blam, writer on davidbowie.com writes: "This one really seems to have caught people's imaginations..
"I've had lots of email already, some from excitable types looking forward to it and a couple more from folk incredulous that David Bowie and Iggy Pop are to feature in LEGO Rock Band."
The game, that also features T Rex, Jackson 5, Blu r and Pink, is due to be released on November 10.
