Labour MP to give healthcare speech at Bromley meeting

Bromley Cuts Concern lobby group is hosting another public meeting about the crisis at South London Healthcare’s hospitals.

Labour MP John McDonell, who has a constituency in Middlesex, is due to give a speech.

Group representative Paul Rooney said: “Come and hear this inspirational and uplifting speaker and find out what you can do to save your local health care provision and prevent the health and welfare of you, your family and your local community being undermined.”

The NHS Trust was placed into administration in June by Health Secretary Andrew Lansley. Administrator Matthew Kershaw is currently investigating the organisations finances and is due to publish a draft report in November.

The meeting is due to take place on September 24 at 7pm at the HG Wells Centre in St Marks Road, Bromley.
