THE accused killer of Harry Potter actor Robert Knox appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday to deny murder.
Jobless Karl Bishop, 21, allegedly stabbed the 18-year-old to death outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup in the early hours of May 24 this year.
Robert, who had just completed filming scenes for the latest Potter movie, was knifed five times.
The Bromley drama student had also signed up to appear in the next blockbuster film in the series as the character Marcus Belby.
A post-mortem showed he died from internal bleeding as a result of stab injuries.
It is believed Robert was trying to protect his younger brother in a fight when he was attacked.
Bishop, of Beaver Lodge, Carlton Road, Sidcup appeared via videolink wearing an open-necked blue shirt.
He spoke to confirm his name before denying murder.
Bishop also pleaded not guilty to five counts of wounding with intent - his alleged victims all male and aged between 16 and 21 - on the same night.
Judge Gerald Gordon QC set a trial date for February 9 next year.
The hearing is expected to last four weeks and will be presided over by a High Court judge.
Bishop was remanded in custody.
