A NIGHTCLUB manageress will stand trial after police found two knives in a car she was travelling in.

Assistant manager of Delano's, Amanda Brown, of Gwydyr Road, Bromley, pleaded not guilty at Bromley Magistrates Court last Thursday (February 26) to possession of a kitchen knife and a butterfly knife.

It is alleged that she owned the weapons which were found bags in the vehicle which was stopped by police in Orchard Street, Bromley on November 6 last year.

She will be committed for trial on April 9.
