MORE than 70 infant and junior school children were trained by a non-league football club's new coaches.

Bromley Football Club launched its Saturday Morning Soccer School at Hayes Lane, where children met members of the first team and academy players, before training. While watching the youngsters develop their skills on March 13, tea, coffee and a full English breakfast was on offer for parents.

Club owner Jerry Dolke said: "It was great to see the children enjoying themselves and to see so many proud parents watching them learn new skills.

"During the coming weeks and months we are looking to extend our Bromley in the community scheme and build relationships with all of our local schools. This was a great start."

The five-week course is open to boys and girls and costs £25. Book by calling the club on 0208 460 5291 or email them at info@bromleyfc.net.
