A TUBE passenger accused of sexually assaulting young women on trains was identified by his bald patch, a court heard.
Colin Franklin, 43, of Croydon Road, Beckenham, groped one startled woman at Camden Town station and said: 'Lovely boobs, can I grab them?' Southwark Crown Court heard.
Franklin, accused of sexually assaulting three women after two other charges were dropped, was snared after police officers recognised a CCTV still which was circulated.
Prosecutor Daniel Robinson told jurors in his closing speech last Thursday: "The man on the CCTV images was wearing a grey jumper, identified as the same one Franklin was wearing when he was arrested two months later.
"The man has also a similar bald patch to the defendant."
Franklin was earlier cleared of groping a commuter at Kilburn Tube station on May 2, 2007 after it was ruled that the CCTV image was too poor to identify him as the attacker.
During that incident Franklin was said to have boasted: 'It's a free country' after the 17-year-old complained when he pinched her breast.
Charges relating to a similar incident at Euston Square on September 13 last year were also dropped for the same reasons.
Franklin was eventually arrested on December 8 last year. He denies three charges of sexual assault.
The jury has retired to decide a verdict.
