Southeastern announced two new morning trains to its peak service to help commuters get in to work.

The new service will run through Orpington and another will run through Chelsfield.

There will be a new service leaving Tonbridge at 0545, calling at Hildenborough, Sevenoaks, Chelsfield, Orpington, London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross.

In addition, the 0700 Tunbridge Wells to Charing Cross service will no longer call at Hildenborough and will additionally stop at Orpington at 0732.

Jo Johnson, MP for Orpington said: I have long campaigned for improved services for Orpington’s commuters at peak times and these extra services are a further step in the right direction.

“I will continue to work with Southeastern to make sure that the best service possible is available to all commuters within the Orpington constituency.”
