GENEROUS readers have responded to a charity fundraiser in memory of murdered teenager Jimmy Mizen.
The Mizen family, from Dallinger Road, Lee, set up the Jimmy Bus Appeal on June 2 to raise money for a scout bus for Our Lady and Lourdes Church, in Burnt Ash Hill, Lee.
We asked you to send us your donations towards the appeal, and so far have received more than £130.
Jimmy's funeral is due to be held at the Lee church tomorrow.
Thanks go to to DW and GF Robinson, Mrs JS Toomey, Mrs EM Sutton, and Mrs CB Medcraft.
To donate towards the bus, send cheques payable to Jimmy Bus Appeal, to News Desk, Kentish Times Newspapers, Roxby House, Station Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA15 7EJ.
