Children from a Bromley school got the chance to perform at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Pupils from James Dixon Primary School, William Booth Road, Anerley have been taking part in OperaQuest, a project created by The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts, that aims to introduce children to opera and tackle the misconceptions surrounding it.
The children presented their own compositions in the Paul Hamlyn Hall in front of parents, teachers and Royal Opera House staff, before performing the finale song.
They were joined in the finale by Children & the Arts’ Ambassador Danielle De Niese, and a Royal Opera House pianist.
OperaQuest will conclude with the children going to see a performance of La Boheme at the Royal Opera House in July.
