Paul Knapper, 40, of Sundridge Parade in Plaistow Lane, Bromley, had earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of producing cannabis, abstracting electricity and money laundering and was sentenced to a total of 43 months, with nine months to run concurrently, at Croydon Crown Court on April 23. He was arrested on January 27 when Bromley Police swooped on his home at 6.55am and found more than 200 plants and £4,000 in cash.

Knapper received 28 months for the production of cannabis and six months for abstracting electricity to run consecutively and nine months for money laundering to run concurrently. The cash recovered from the flat was ordered to be forfeited and the drugs and equipment were ordered to be destroyed.
