Increasing concern for 38-year-old woman who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia

Nomofundo Motha has not been seen since July 9

Met Police are appealing for help to find a 38-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen for more than two weeks.

Nomofundo Motha went missing from a mental health care home and hasn’t been since Saturday, July 9 in Croydon Shopping Centre.

The 38-year-old is a paranoid schizophrenic and may appear aggressive and paranoid.

She is described as a black female of large build and was last seen wearing a floral dress, black leggings, black trainers and had a brown handbag.

Police believe Ms Motha may be in the West End, as she had told people she wanted to watch Mamma Mia.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “If spotted, please contact the Missing Persons Unit at Bromley on 0208 284 8766 during office hours between 07.00 and 18.00hrs.

“Outside of office hours please call 999 for an immediate response quoting reference 16MIS029520.

“Officers are increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.”
