Hunt for teenage boy who attacked pensioner

70-year-old fell to ground as he grabbed her bag

Police are hunting for a teenager who knocked a pensioner to the ground and stole her handbag in Orpington.

The 70-year-old banged her head as she fell after the boy grabbed her bag in Vine Road, Green Street Green, at 7.25am on Sunday, January 18.

The bag, which had had money in, was found about 40 minutes later behind flats in Saltwood Close, Orpington.

The teenager is white, aged between 15 and 18, about 5ft 8 and skinny. He was wearing a dark woolly hooded jacket and dark trousers.
