POLICE have issued a search warrant for the manager of an estate agent that is believed to have ripped off scores of landlords and tenants.

Acre Estates in Beckenham closed suddenly in May, as reported in the Times, without reimbursing thousands of pounds worth of deposits and rent to customers. Now, police investigating the incident, have raided and address and issued an arrest warrant for the former manager of the business in Beckenham Road. A spokesman for Bromley Police said a search warrant had been issued last Monday, adding: "We have executed a search warrant at an address and seized a number of documents. We have issued an arrest warrant for a male in respect of this matter.
