Huge weapons stash

POLICE have seized an arsenal of weapons and substantial stash of drugs and stolen jewellery during a dawn raid.

POLICE have seized an arsenal of weapons and substantial stash of drugs and stolen jewellery during a dawn raid.

Officers raided an address in Portland Road, Bromley, to discover a sawn-off pump action shot gun, a Beretta Hunting Rifle, a machete, an air rifle and ammunition.

They also found mobile phones, watches, jewellery and two bags suspected to be class A drugs.

Specialist firearms officers were also at the scene at 7.30am on March 2 to identify the guns and make them safe.

Danny Dean, 22, a construction worker, and Abby Barbara, 18, both from Portland Road, have been charged with the same charge of possession of cocaine with intent to supply and other firearm offences.

The pair appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on March 3. Mr Dean was remanded in custody while Abby Barbara was released on bail.

Both have been committed to appear at Croydon Crown Court in the week beginning May 17.
