TWENTY firefighters tackled a fire in a two storey detached house.

Crews from Addington, Orpington and Biggin Hill were called to the blaze at the house in Westerham Road, Keston, at 6.30pm on Monday.

The fire destroyed a quarter of the first floor and half of the roof before it was brought under control at 9pm.

There are no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation but police are not treating it as suspicious.
