Pupils and staff said bonjour and bienvenido to the European Day of Languages last week, celebrating with a host of activities.
Bromley High School, in Blackbrook Lane, began with a quiz for Years 7 to 11 to test the girls’ knowledge.
A European-themed lunch was also served, including Spanish paella, French beef bourguignon, followed by a German black forest gateau.
Deputy head, Paul Anderson, said: “It was an exciting, fun-packed day, giving girls the opportunity to learn about other European cultures and appreciate a variety of languages.”
