This week our Help A Pet appeal is looking for homes for a cat recently rescued by Anim-Mates.

Speedy is a small black and white male who became homeless when his elderly owner died.

He is approximately two or three-years-old and has been neutered and microchipped.

Speedy's fosterer Teresa Bloomfield said: "He's a sad little soul, who has only just accepted me stroking him. He is happiest at dinnertime when he sits patiently waiting for his meal."

As Speedy is very shy he will not be re-homed where there are children.

If you can offer him a home call Teresa on 020 8355 6888 or 07743 331397.
