ELEVEN girls have made it through to the capital s volleyball finals. Bexley girls finished as runners-up in their volleyball qualifying group and made it through to the semi-finals of the London Youth Games. The girls who played at the Score Centre,

ELEVEN girls have made it through to the capital's volleyball finals.

Bexley girls finished as runners-up in their volleyball qualifying group and made it through to the semi-finals of the London Youth Games.

The girls who played at the Score Centre, Leyton, were

pitted against teams from Barnet, Brent, Croydon, Haringey, Havering, Islington and Richmond.

Team coach Linda Blazeby and former England volleyball

international, said: "Our strength is our excellent teamwork and supportive player contribution.

"We're really excited about qualifying for the finals weekend."

The semis and final will be at Crystal Palace on July 4.

The Bexley's girls will play Kensington and Chelsea in the semi-finals.
