Polling stations are slowly filling up across the borough as residents turn out to have their say on the general election.

In Chislehurst, local Conservative candidate Bob Neill was spotted with three friends, one on four legs, heading in to mark his ballot paper.

The candidate for Bromley and Chislehurst was headed into the polling station on School Road in the town.

One eyewitness, who has visited a number of stations across Bromley this morning, said it had “the most people I have seen so far” with up to 25 people all voting at once.

As the day goes on, more dogs have been spotted at the polling stations with their owners - #dogsatpollingstations - See our gallery.
