Full results of Thursday’s election as they happen – will Labour hold onto its Lewisham West and Penge seat with its new candidate?

Voters have spent Thursday finally making their decision on who will lead the country – and the results are due in the early hours of Friday morning.

The results are as follows:

The candidates are:

Ellie Reeves (Lab) - 35,411 - ELECTED

Hoong-Wai Cheah (Ukip) - 700

John Russell (Lib Dem) - 3,317

Karen Wheller (Green) - 1,144

Katherine Hortense (Christian Peoples Alliance) - 325

Russell White (Populist Party) - 50

Shaun Bailey (Conservative) - 12,249

Turnout: 73%

Alex Feakes (Lib Dem) - 7.7%

David Hansom (Independent) - 0.3%

Gary Harding (Ukip) 7.8%

George Whale (Libery GB) - 0.1%

Jim Dowd (Lab) - 50.6% - ELECTED

Martin Powell-Davies (Tusc) - 0.8%

Russell Jackson (Con) - 24.2%

Tom Chance (Green) - 8.5%
