Trembling hands and sweaty palms are to be expected this morning as teenagers in Bromley collect their GCSE results.

We have photographers and reporters at schools across the borough capturing the morning, but be sure to send in your pictures, results and any stories you think might be interesting.

In Bromley last year, St Olave’s Grammar School, in Goddington Lane, Orpington, was a stand out performer - ranking 13th in the country, according to the Department of Education.

The school was the only one of the borough’s 36 schools to make it into the nation’s top 100 list after achieving 100 per cent A* to C grades.

Despite not making the cut, Eltham College, in Grove Park Road, Mottingham, also achieved 100 per cent A* to C grades - drastically beating the national average of 59.4 per cent.

There were also big improvements at Beaverwood School for Girls, in Beaverwood Road, Chislehurst who jumped from 54 per cent in 2011, to 71 per cent A* to C grades in 2012.

However, Bishop Challoner School, in Bromley Road, Shortlands will be looking to return to form after dropping from 100 per cent in 2011 to 59 per cent last year.
