A DANISH youth brass band are due to perform at venues in the area this month as part of their UK tour. The 40-strong Danish (FDF) Youth Brass band are holding free concerts in Bromley and Bexley from the end of the month.

A DANISH youth brass band are due to perform at venues in the area this month as part of their UK tour.

The 40-strong Danish (FDF) Youth Brass band are holding free concerts in Bromley and Bexley from the end of the month.

The first concert will take place on Wednesday, March 31 at the Walnuts Shopping Centre in Orpington High Street from 10am followed by a 7.30pm performance at The Temple United Reformed Church in St Mary's Cray High Street.

Then on Thursday, April 1 from 1pm, they will perform at Geddes Place in the United Reformed Church in Bexleyheath town centre, when mayor Bernard Clewes is set to be present.

The band are also due to hold special workshops with schools in the area before they travel to Bedfordshire to continue their tour.
