Four people are charged with killing Richard Price, 23, who died from head injuries inflicted during a brawl last Halloween.

Jagtar Johal, 36, of Blyth Road, Bromley, Murat Karabeyaz, 25, of Burford Road, Catford and Michael Liddell, 20, of Holyoake Walk, Ealing, have all denied murder and are to be tried at the Old Bailey.

Police said a fourth man, Param-Jit Theara, 24, of Ross Way, Greenwich, has not entered a plea but is due to stand trial at the same time.

The men are accused of killing Mr Price, of Southover, Sundridge Park, who was assaulted in an alleyway near the Empire cinema shortly after leaving the Swan and Mitre pub in Bromley High Street just after 11.30pm on October 31. He was found by passing police community support officers.

Doctors at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough switched off his life support machine on November 3.
