FOUR men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a father-to-be attacked in an alleyway at Halloween.
Jagtar Johal, 36, of Blyth Road, Bromley, Murat Karabeyaz, 25, of Burford Road, Catford, and Michael Liddell, 20, of Holyoake Walk, Ealing, all denied murder at the Old Bailey on Monday.
A fourth man, Param-Jit Theara, 24, of Ross Way, Greenwich, appeared by video-link but did not enter a plea.
The men are accused of killing Richard Price, of Southover, Sundridge Park, who died from head injuries.
He was assaulted in an alley near the Empire cinema shortly after leaving the Swan and Mitre pub in Bromley High Street just after 11.30pm. Mr Price was found by passing police community support officers.
Doctors at the Princess Royal University Hospital, in Farnborough, switched off his life-support machine on November 3.
The accused were all remanded in custody and are due to stand trial on June 1 in a case which is expected to last three weeks.
