Four Bromley schools will take part in the 10th anniversary of an annual dance showcase in Southbank.
Over 70 dance groups, including one each from Charles Darwin School, Darrick Wood School, Harris Girls’ Academy, and Ravens Wood School, will perform at the Southbank Centre on July 17 as part of the Step into Dance programme.
Throughout the day, over 700 dancers will take over the Clore Ballroom to perform an array of styles.
Programme and artistic director of Step into Dance, Sue Goodman, said: “Southbank Centre will be bursting with the thousand tapping feet of young dancers as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We shall have free performances throughout the day and our companies will rock the Royal Festival Hall stage in the evening.
“All the dancers have worked so hard to perform this year. They will set the stage ablaze with their energy, enthusiasm and talent.”
