Former Lambeth Borough Council town centre manager Frances Forrest has been selected to manage Bromley Business Improvement District’s (BID) £3 million business plan.

Ms Forrest, who has also worked for Croydon Town Centre BID and Vauxhall One BID, will oversee a five-year programme of activities aimed at improving the centre of Bromley for the benefit of businesses, employees, residents and visitors.

The business plan focuses on four core strategies: improving marketing and promotion, boosting the appearance of the town centre’s public realm, providing support to businesses in the office sector and enhancing community safety.

Ms Forrest said: “I’m very excited about joining Your Bromley and starting to make the town centre an even better place to visit or do business in. The town centre, its businesses and their customers have so much to gain from being part of a BID.”

Your Bromley, the organisation that runs Bromley BID, now plans to expand its advisory group to 20 members and appoint three additional directors from among its ranks.
