VOTING is underway for the prestigious Food and Drink Awards - and the chance to win a share in a whopping £100,000 prize fund.
Hundreds of restaurants and bars that have applied for the awards over the last few months will now compete to become a category winner in their area.
Customers have two months to vote for their favourite business, where area winners from London, Kent and Essex will then compete to be named one of the 17 finest in the overall Food and Drink Awards 2009
Winners can promote their success further with the opportunity to advertise in-paper or online or use their win for web design or marketing support.
With the economic downturn affecting trade there is not a better time to win this exclusive prize.
The awards are now in their fifth year. Last year more than 600 restaurants took part with over 600,000 online votes registered.
About 350 guests attended the awards ceremony at the Radisson SAS Portman Hotel, Central London.
Voting started on Monday, March 9 online at www.london24.com/ londonfooddrinkawards.
