Crews may not be able to attend minor fires

Fire crews in London will strike for 24 hours from 7am on Wednesday, February 25.

There will still be crews on duty, and you will still be able to call 999, but crews are warning that they may not be able to attend small grass, hedge and undergrowth fires, rubbish fires, animal rescues, people stuck in lifts (you should contact the building owners), floods and automatic fire alarms.
