Fire destroys combine harvester at Orpington farm

The cause of the fire is currently unknown

More than 20 fire fighters were called to a farm off Crockenhill Road, Orpington on Tuesday afternoon.

Crews from Orpington, Sidcup and Eltham were called to the fire just after 2pm.

A combine harvester and 10 tonnes of wood chippings were destroyed by the fire before crews could put out the flames.

Firefighters left the scene at around 3.45pm.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
