Fire damages roof and first floor of Bromley home

35 firefighters tackle blaze in Copthorne Avenue

SIX fire engines and 35 firefighters attended a house fire on Copthorne Avenue in Bromley.

Two adults left the property before the arrival of the brigade and there were no injuries.

The fire affected the semi-detached house on two floors. The whole of the first floor and the roof was damaged in the blaze.

Firefighters from Addington, Bromley and Sutton fire stations attended the incident.

The cause of the fire, which happened at around 11.30 am on Wednesday, April 22, is under investigation.
