Fire fighters in Orpington were called out to a blaze in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The fire, which started at around 2.15am, damaged half of the garage of a home in Royal Close.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “One cylinder was cooled to an ambient temperature by crews, who left the scene at 3.50am.

“There is nothing to suggest the fire is suspicious but it is still under investigation.”
