A children’s hospice charity is looking for festive volunteers at its newest store in Westerham.

The chYps Children’s Hospice at Home shop, in Market Square, opened its doors last month and is now looking for people willing to give up a few hours over the Christmas period.

Open from Monday to Saturday each week, chYps are hoping to open seven days a week in a bid to raise more than £2,000 extra from sales each month.

Regional retail manager, Tim Stewart, said: “Our new Westerham shop has been a popular addition to the high street.

“Our Christmas wish is to be able to open seven days a week, and just like Santa we need a lot of little helpers.”

The money raised will help provide vital hospice at home care to seriously ill babies, children and young adults in the local area.

Westerham’s newest store will join other chYps stores in opening for late night shopping on November 28.

If you would like to volunteer, fill in an application in-store - or call 01959 564 328.
