THREE members of the same family are due to appear in court charged with drug offences after police found more than 100 cannabis plants at their home.

Robert Cook, 22, of Beech Road, Biggin Hill, is charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, production of cannabis and possession of cannabis.

He will appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on May 26 with his parents Robert Cook, 54, and Sheila Cook, 50, also of Beech Road, Biggin Hill, who are both charged with allowing a premises to be used in the production of cannabis.

On February 17, at around 10.25pm, police stopped and searched a suspicious BMW in Forest Gate and arrested two 22-year-old men on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

Officers obtained a warrant to search the Cooks' house in Beech Road in the early hours of February 18 where they found two rooms with heating lamps and over 100 cannabis plants. All three were bailed until May 14 when they were charged.
