AN ORCHESTRA is to perform three well-known symphonies by English composers.

The Bromley Symphony Orchestra's season finishes with a concert featuring the tone-poem Tintagel by Bax which pictures King Arthur's legendary castle high on the rocks above the Atlantic.

To follow will be a suite of the incidental music written by Malcolm Arnold for the film The Inn Of The Sixth Happiness and The Planets by Gustav Holst accompanied by the choir of Newstead Wood School, Orpington.

Conducted by Adrian Brown, the concert takes place in the Great Hall of Ravensbourne School, Hayes Lane, Bromley at 7.45pm next Saturday.
