Emergency services called to two-car crash in Beckenham near Chinese garage roundabout

The incident happened at around 7am

A two-car crash has closed off a Beckenham road both ways this morning (Monday).

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Stone Park Avenue, near the Chinese garage roundabout following the crash at around 7am which saw one of the vehicles turn onto its roof.

London Fire Brigade was called following reports that passengers inside the cars may have been trapped, but on arrival discovered it was not the case.

Police report they have closed the road in both directions following the crash, but so far have made no arrests.

A spokesperson from London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:07am to reports of a road traffic collision on Stone Park Avenue, Beckenham.

“We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital for further assessment.”
