Services were delayed at Beckenham Junction last night due to a concern for a man’s welfare

A trespasser at Beckenham Junction was removed from railway lines by ambulance crews yesterday evening.

A line closure was put in place after the British Transport Police were called to the scene at 18:31 due to a concern for someone’s welfare.

They attended the scene with the Met and the London Ambulance Service, where shortly after a line closure was put in place so crews could remove the man from the tracks.

The British Transport Police have dealt with 126 instances of trespass across the UK during the six weeks of the school holidays.
