Drugs and cash seized in Orpington

A man was arrested at the scene.

Police in Bromley seized cocaine, cannabis and cash at a property in Eldred Drive, Orpington, at around 8am this morning.

Around £3,000 cash was seized, along with a set of electronic scales and a number of mobile phones.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, as well as money laundering.

He remains in custody at a South London police Station.

Sgt Paul Law said; “This was a great result following concerns raised by the community.

“We will continue to act on information given to us by local residents”.
