A COCAINE user who dressed up in a teenager's school uniform and sexually assaulted her has been jailed for three years.
Nigel Stewart, formerly from Penge, offered a 15-year-old girl £100 for sex and tried to talk her into drinking vodka and taking cocaine.
Croydon Crown Court heard on Monday that he had been drinking in a Penge pub on September 7 before asking to try on her school uniform and a bikini. Judge Simon Pratt described the incident as having taken place in "bizarre circumstances".
Prosecuting, Julius Capon said: "He suggested they start dressing up and he put on her school uniform, and then her bikini. She asked him to take it off and he got her to dance with him.
"She was so concerned that she texted her friend, who came over very quickly."
The court heard that Stewart, now of South Ockenden, Essex, offered the girl money for sex.
Mr Capon added: "Eventually, she managed to persuade him to leave. Her family were extremely upset when they heard what had happened, and Stewart handed himself in to police. He said he had been taking drugs and drink."
Defending, Scott Brady said Stewart, who pleaded guilty to indecent assault, had been having blackouts as a result of his Class A drug habit, but was now fighting the addiction.
Judge Pratt told Stewart: "You wanted her to wear her school uniform, but she went upstairs and found you undressed to your boxer shorts and rummaging through her clothes
"You put on her uniform and also her bikini and effectively started parading yourself around."
The judge disqualified Stewart from working with children for the rest of his life. He will be on the sex offenders' register for life.
