Driver recovering after head on smash

A TEENAGER had to be cut out of his car after he was involved in a head on collision with a sports car.

The 19-year-old was freed from his Rover coupe by fire crews yesterday (July 15) afternoon at around 3pm after the crash with a grey BMW in Green Street Green, Pratts Bottom.

He was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London hospital but his injuries are not life threatening.

A man and a woman in their 50s were freed from the BMW and taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough with non life threatening injuries.

The A21 was closed between junction with Rushmore Hill and junction with Charmwood Lane while traffic was diverted. It reopened fully at around 5.30pm.
