Driver handed community order after Bromley police find fake cash

A driver who hid his face from Bromley police on a routine patrol has been given a community order after £100 in fake cash and a lock-knife were found in his car.

Daniel O’Connel, 24, of Gravesend, pleaded guilty to possession of both counterfeit currency and a bladed article at Bromley Magistrates Court.

His community order stipulates he must complete 80 hours unpaid work and is required to pay £145 court costs.
