A SCREAMING knifeman threatened a disabled driver and slashed his tyres in broad daylight during a road rage incident.
Peter Allan, 54, who has multiple sclerosis and coronary heart disease, was travelling along the A21 heading towards Farnborough at around 2.10pm last Thursday when a silver left-hand drive Smart Car stopped suddenly in front of him.
Mr Allan, from Stockbury, said: "He got out and came towards the car screaming. He was shouting 'get out the f***ing car' and came up to my window.
"I kept saying no and then he walked to the front of the car and lunged at the wing mirror. I didn't feel scared at the time I just thought he was over reacting because I can't even think what I'd done to annoy him.
"After he got back in his car and drove off I carried on and I saw him doing a U turn to go back so he must have chased me especially.
"Then I started to lose control of the car and when I stopped and got out, my front tyre had deflated. There was a 3/4 inch slash.
"If I'd have known he had a knife I would have run him over. I was fuming mad. This man needs to be caught because I'm absolutely sure that he would have used it on me if I'd got out the car. He will kill someone.
"At no point did he put his hands on my car which makes me think he knew what he was doing because he obviously didn't want to leave fingerprints."
The attack happened on the same day as another knife road rage incident in east London, in which 21-year-old Adnan Patel died after being stabbed in the stomach.
A spokesman from Bromley police said: "Bromley Police are investigating an incident whereby a motorist had his tyre damaged after he was forcibly stopped by another motorist and are keen to speak to the driver of the silver Smart Ka or anyone who witnessed the incident."
Anyone with information should call police on 01689 891212 or, to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
