An Orpington charity that raises money for children with complex and life threatening illnesses is to hold a dinner dance at Sundridge Golf Course this summer.

The Maypole Project’s black tie evening will include a drinks reception and a three-course meal, with music provided by a DJ.

A raffle and an auction will also take place as part of the fundraising event.

The charity provides emotional, psychological and social support, including counselling, befriending, whole family therapy and respite days for children and their families across south-east London.

It is planning to host a number of fundraising events throughout the year, including a quiz night and a barbecue.

The dinner dance will run from 7pm until midnight on Saturday, July 23 at Sundridge Park Golf Course, Garden Road, with tickets priced at £45.

For more information about the event, contact the fundraising team on 01689 851596, or email amy@themaypoleproject.co.uk.
