Dead pigeons thrown from PRUH roof on Christmas Day

Police were called to the mental health unit, Green Parks House, at around 10.40pm and remained there for two hours.

The Met Police helicopter was drafted in to assist with the arrest, tweeting to apologise for the aircraft’s noise.

“@MPSinthesky Apologies to anyone in the Orpington area, we are keeping our altitude high to minimise noise.”

Timothy Plummer has been charged with assault on police and causing a public nuisance. He was bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on February 1.
