Bouncing crowds and live music return this summer as organisers announce dates for the Crystal Palace Overground Festival.

Beginning with fringe acts on June 27, the main festival hubs will be based at Westow Park on June 29 and around the Upper Norwood Triangle a day later.

The full programme of events is set to be released in May.

Festival director, Noreen Meehan, said: “The festival has been growing each year with more and more visitors and volunteers but we need help to ensure its future.

“Our local businesses have done an amazing job of supporting the festival so far but funding is getting tighter.”

The annual, ecclectic long weekend relies on volunteers, sponsorship, fundraising and the support of the local community.
