A BUSINESSMAN arrested in Dubai after allegedly having sex on the beach with a fellow Brit is due to appear in court next month.

Father-of-one Vince Acors, 34, of Homesdale Road, Bromley was arrested on July 4 with sales rep Michelle Palmer on Jumeirah Open Beach.

He denies having sex and the pair will appear in court in the Dubai Court of First Instance on August 21.

Both are charged with having an illicit affair, performing an indecent act in public and consuming alcohol. The duo face up to six years in jail if found guilty.

Following his arrest, Mr Acors' neighbours rallied support for him, calling the text message business boss a 'nice chap'.

His barber, James Bodicombe, of Barbers of Bromley just across the road from Mr Acors' house, said: "It's disgraceful that he's facing up to six years in jail.

"He's not a trouble maker, far from it."
