A charity is looking for two plucky adventurers to abseil down the tallest hospital tower in the world.
Harris HospisCare, based at Tregony Road, Orpington, need the volunteers to tackle the 469ft abseil down the side of Guy’s Hospital Tower on September 5.
They will be the last people to descend the iconic tower before it undergoes refurbishment, and the vacancies have come about after two last minute cancellations.
Harris HospisCare fundraiser Simon Pitts says “Guy’s Hospital Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the capital and is a visible feature on the London skyline, standing taller than the London Eye, so naturally all of our places filled very quickly. “These cancellations offer an incredible opportunity for 2 people to take part in a truly unique and awe inspiring experience.”
No experience is needed to take part. To find out more telephone Simon Pitts on 01689 825 755 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
