POLE dancers gave a live demonstration to weekend shoppers to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Dancers from Pole Secrets school showcased their skills at the bandstand near to the Glades Shopping Centre on July 26 to raise money for Cancer Research.
Spokesperson, Claire Dangar, said: "After much controversy in the press and media about pole dancing we thought it was time to take our pole dancing routines to a larger audience so that every day people can see what a great form of exercise it is, as well as being fun and artistic.
"It combines tasteful dance as well as elements of ballet, contemporary, street dance, salsa and aerobics as well as giving people the opportunity to explore hidden talents and have a great time doing so."
